CELEBRATE LIFE…….CARMEL CALLING.

What a wonderful thanksgiving to God we had!What a brilliant and blessed experience our Feast Day Celebration was! We the Carmelite sisters of St. Louis Convent celebrated the feast of Our Patroness-Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the 16th of July.

The staff and students along with the Good Shepherd Parishioners attended the Feast Day Eucharist.Our Parish Priest Fr.Jerome presided over the Eucharistic celebration and Fr. Elton and Fr.Alex concelebrated it with fervor and devotion.

Before the Eucharist an introduction specifying the theme was announced-Mary Mother of Carmel-Vessel of God’s Mercy.Can we imbibe the virtues of mother of Carmel, especially mercy lived and proclaimed by her.

The school children then enacted a skit in song and dance depicting the Carmel Call which was the vocation story of any of the Carmelite Sisters.
