Golden Jubilee – Closing Moments
The culmination of our Golden Jubilee was celebrated on two consecutive days, i.e 5th and 6th January 2017. A month long session of preparations, where the entire Louisian family came together to put up a beautiful show which will be fondly remembered by the guests who graced the occasions.
Mother Mary Elma, Superior General of the Congregation of Carmelite Religious Order and Sister Clare D’souza Provincial Superior, St. Theresa’s Province Mumbai were the Special Guests along with many important dignitaries, Rev. Fathers and Sisters, Ex-Louisians and Parents. The golden jubilee mega event was an amalgamation of a musical concert ‘Trade Our Talents’ by the Secondary Section and ‘Phoenix…. A Tale of Strength and Persistence’ by Pre-Primary and Primary Students in song, dance and drama. It was a splendid evening indeed.The beautiful backdrop highlighting the logo added colour and hue to our finale. The Guests were enchanted by the performance of our children. The souvenir ‘Louisian Chrysalis’ was released by Rev. Mother Mary Elma and Sister Clare D’souza. All the invitees were also provided with light refreshments sponsored by some of our parents.
Two evenings displaying the talents of both our teachers and children under the able leadership and guidance of three dynamic individuals, Sr. Reena – Principal, Sr. Agnes – Vice Principal and Sr. Angela – Headmistress made us feel immensely proud to belong to this institution.
We are extremely grateful for all the graces showered on us to thank every Louisian– teacher, student and parent who worked tirelessly to make this event a huge success.
