‘INDIA AT 70 – Vibrant , Growing and Looking at the Future with Hope and Optimism.’

We celebrated INDIA’S 70th Independence Day and The Feast of the Assumption of Mother Mary on the 15th of August with a feeling of Patriotism and Love for our Motherland.

The chief guest ,our primary teacher Mrs. Ophelia Cardoz hoisted our National  flag which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem with great fervour  while all present saluted the flag.

A prayer service was held followed by speeches in English and Hindi. Next  was a felicitation programme to honour  the SSC Toppers for the year 2015-2016. An  interhouse  Patriotic Song Competition was also held for the secondary section. Mrs.Roma then delivered the Vote of Thanks bringing the programme to an end.
