Independence Day – 2022

India completed 75 years of freedom on August 15, 2022 and  celebrated the 76th Independence Day , a momentous milestone in it’s journey since attaining freedom in 1947. It was on this day that we broke free from the chains of slavery of the British  rule and we remember and salute the heroic deeds of our freedom fighters who laid down their lives to win the freedom that we enjoy today.

The Government of India has organised various programs with the Independence Day 2022 theme of NATION FIRST , ALWAYS FIRST.

Azadi  Ka Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements.

The programme began with a guard of Honour escorting the Manager , Principal ,Vice Principal , Supervisor , the Chief Guest Mrs. Sulagna Chakravorty and the Guest of Honour Mrs Sarita Lopes.

The Flag was hoisted by Mrs. Sulagna . This was followed by a Prayer service , Speeches in English and Marathi, a Patriotic song , Dances and a Rally at the end. The Chief Guest gave a speech and the programme ended with a Vote of thanks by Miss Genesia Creado.
