‘Freedom is not a gift, it is an achievement’. 

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with utmost zeal and enthusiasm. The  chief guest Mrs. Dolcy Dias hoisted the national flag followed by a salute to the Indian tricolor and the powerful rendition of the National anthem. The prayer service was followed by poignant speeches in English and Hindi delivered by Ms. Shaareen Khwaja and Ms. Deepika Kunwar reminding us about the value of our freedom and our duties as the citizens of India.

The  cultural programme put up by the  students of the secondary section included patriotic songs and dance which changed the atmosphere with patriotic spirit. The highlight of the day was a thought provoking message from our  honorable Principal Sr. Saumya. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Ganga Rawat. The joy of the students was doubled when they received  sweets on this occasion.
