On account of the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a solemn eucharistic celebration was organised at the Good Shepherd Church, attended by all the Catholic students and teaching fraternity.

Rev. Fr. Anil Rego celebrated the mass and delivered an appealing sermon. Through a tableau the students highlighted the significance of the holy scapular, a symbol of Our Lady’s protection and love. As we celebrate the birth bicentennial year of venerable Mother Veronica, the tableau also emphasized on Mother Veronica and the work of her daughters, the Congregation of the Carmelite Religious (CCR) in the field of education and other works of mercy.  Blessed scapulars were distributed to all the catholics after the mass.
