India celebrated it’s 75th Republic Day on 26th of January, 2024. The day was celebrated with pride and reverence at St. Louis Convent High School . To honour the occasion, a dignified ceremony was held in the school. The Primary students council members along with our Manager Sr. Sujata and Principal Sr. Saumya escorted the Chief guest Mrs. Ranjana Martin and Guest of Honour Mrs. Swetlana Vaz to the flag post.

The National flag was unfurled by the chief guest. This was followed by the salute ceremony in the presence of the staff and the students.

A prayer service was conducted by the students which was then followed by the felicitation of the chief guest Mrs. Ranjana Martin and the guest of honour Mrs. Swetlana Vaz (silver jubilarian). The SSC toppers and the school rank holders were honoured. The prize winners of the teachers competitions held in December were also awarded. Dances, speeches, skit and a soulful rendition of patriotic songs stirred up the patriotic fervour in the audience.

The programme concluded by the chief guest ,Mrs. Ranjana’s address to the students , which was then followed by the vote of thanks.
